In May of 1998, comedy legend Phil Hartman and wife Brynn Hartman got into a heated argument that resulted in Phil reportedly threatening to leave her if she started using drugs again. Following the fight, Phil went to sleep in their bedroom where Brynn would later shoot him twice with a .38 caliber handgun. She had reportedly recently consumed cocaine. Since his death, Andy Dick has been blamed for allegedly re-introducing drugs into Brynn's life. Jon Lovitz, Phil's best friend, claims Andy told him, "I put the Phil Hartman hex on you; you're the next one to die" in 2006.
