Phil Spector is a record producer who was indicted for the 2003 murder of actress Lana Clarkson. On the night of February 3, Spector had taken Clarkson to his California mansion where his driver would later hear a gunshot before Spector was seen exiting his home with a handgun. According to affidavits, Spector was quoted as saying, "I think I just shot her." The music big-wig would later change his story, claiming her death was an accidental suicide as, according to him, she "kissed the gun." After years of legal battles, Spector was found guilty of second-degree murder in 2009 and has been spending his 19 year sentence in North Kern State Prison.
