Whitney Port Tearfully Addresses Being Bullied At A New Mom Event -- WTF?!

Poor Whitney Port is going through it!

The reality TV star posted to her YouTube channel this week about an encounter she had with some moms at a new mother even in the El Lay area that went sour pretty quickly… and almost immediately upon talking about it with her fans on camera, the alum of The Hills had broken down into tears over what she termed was an experience where she got “mom bullied.”

The 34-year-old new mom — who shares 20-month-old son Sonny Sanford with husband Tim Rosenman — revealed on Thursday that even though she went to the panel discussion with a good attitude, multiple moms at the event made her feel hurt and unwelcomed almost immediately upon arriving.

In the video, which you can watch in full (above), Port explains what happened and how she reacted to it, starting with this (below):

“I went in with a good attitude, I walked out feeling a little bit insecure. There were a lot of moms that I knew. I approached two specifically… and I got the same reaction from both of them which was, ‘I really cannot be bothered talking to you right now’ and they were trying to back out of the conversation as quickly as they could. It’s especially hard when you’re a new mother and you really want to put yourself out there because this is the time to make lifelong relationships.”

Wow!!!

At one point in the clip, with her husband heard from behind the camera asking questions, Port eventually breaks down in tears over the event, admitting that the women involved “hurt my feelings.”

Rosenman does a lot of work to talk her back up, trying to build her confidence, but the reality TV star clearly struggles with it throughout the rest of the video.

Finally, still teary-eyed, Port finally comes to her conclusion, though it’s not necessarily a happy one (below):

“It’s so silly because it’s so easy to be nice to people. They probably never even thought about [being mean.] … But I need to stop telling myself this narrative. The problem is I’m bullying myself… I think I’m worthy of people of being nice to me but I can be quiet and awkward. I can’t control the way anybody acts but it shouldn’t stop me from putting myself out there. I just have to work on my own self-esteem and focus on the positive qualities about me as opposed to the negative.”

Ugh… What do U think about all this, Perezcious readers?!

Is the Hills alum being overly sensitive about an awkward and maybe slightly unfortunate time at a new mom event, as she even questions about herself in the video?? Or does she have a point here — that it’s so much easier if people are kind to each other?! Let us know what you think about all this in the comments (below)…
