Only one more week of the winter that is Wendy Williams’ hiatus!
The daytime queen took to Twitter on Thursday to announce that she would be returning to her “iconic purple chair” on Monday, March 4 following her months-long absence.
In a statement from Debmar-Mercury, the company behind The Wendy Williams Show, they will air repeat episodes the week of February 25 and will return with all new episodes — and a fresh faced Wendy — the following week.
The company also thanked the rotating panel of guest hosts that have been filling in for the 54-year-old over the past few weeks, as she battled crises of both the medical and domestic variety.

As we’ve reported, the host announced she needed to take extra time off for the holidays to recover from certain “complications” from her Graves’ disease. The announcement came amid reports that her husband, Kevin Hunter, impregnated his alleged mistress.
Staffers on the show have since claimed Wendy isn’t really “sick,” and has kept the real reason for her absence a “secret.”
We doubt the TV personality will spill the tea on her personal life when she comes back in March, but it will still be good to see her on air again. Read the latest update (below).
