Rosario Dawson IS Dating Cory Booker! Actress Confirms With Love!

Rosario Dawson just confirmed she is, in fact, dating presidential hopeful Cory Booker!

While speaking to TMZ at the Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C. on Thursday, the Rent actress let the cat out of the bag by telling a photog that the two are “very much” in a relationship.

When asked how things with the Senator are going, the thespian replied:

“So far, so wonderful. He’s a wonderful human being. It’s good to spend some time together when we can. We’re very busy.”

The 39-year-old starlet also said the 49-year-old politician would make a great president, explaining:

“He’s an amazing human being.”

However, when asked if the couple are getting engaged soon, she remarked, “I have no idea,” adding:

“I am just grateful to be with someone that I respect and love and admire who is so brilliant and kind and caring and loving.”

In an interview with the The Breakfast Club radio show in February, Booker confirmed he was dating someone by saying, “I got a boo” and that it was “somebody really special.”

Rumors of their fling first circulated in January 2019 after they were seen at the movies, and then at a Broadway performance of Dear Evan Hansen.

Understudy Diamond Essence White wrote on Twitter:

“I know I’m being a nerd right now but Senator Cory Booker and Rosario Dawson saw the show tonight while I was on and I had to leave the room because I got too star struck and started crying…. I’m still the same little fan girl I was before getting on Broadway”

At the time, witnesses told Page Six that the duo definitely looked like a couple, with one source saying:

“They were so cute together and seemed so flirtatious.”

Another even heard Rosario sweetly singing to Cory after the show! She reportedly hummed:

“I love you, te amo”

As we wrote last month, the former mayor of Newark, New Jersey announced his presidential bid on the first day of Black History Month.

In January 2018, while appearing on the Morado podcast, Dawson revealed she was raped and molested as a child, and hinted that her abuser was a member of her family.

She explained to hosts Cindy Rodriguez and Nathalie Farfan:

“I was raped and molested as a child, so for me, the world was like that since I was a child. So when I saw it in the workplace, it wasn’t foreign to me. It was like, well, that even happens within the family. It happens with people that are supposed to take care of you when you’re a child.”

The actress is a co-founder of Voto Latino, a civic media organization and advocacy group for Latino voters in the United States, and was a prominent supporter of Bernie Sanders during the 2016 primary.
