R. Kelly Sued By New Accuser Who Alleges He Sexually Abused Her As A 16-Year-Old

R. Kelly, who just pleaded not guilty to sexual abuse charges, is facing another lawsuit from a new accuser, as of Monday morning.

The newest alleged victim, Heather Williams, just filed suit against the embattled R&B musician in Cook County, Illinois, according to TMZ.

Williams alleges that she first met Kelly in late May of 1998 while she was walking down a street in Chicago; the singer, who was driving by, stopped and spoke to her before sending his people to meet her and her family at a restaurant.

Kelly’s associates then apparently told Williams’ family they wanted her to come to his studio to appear in one of his videos; as a “starstruck” 16-year-old, Heather was all in.

But by June, she alleges in the suit, R. Kelly was already sexually abusing her. She claims the abuse — which allegedly included both oral sex and intercourse — continued until she was an adult.

She’s suing for at least $50,000, per the terms of the filed suit; Kelly’s camp has not yet responded to these new allegations.
