Nicolas Cage Files For Annulment From Wife Of FOUR DAYS!

UPDATE 3/29/19 2:59 P.M. EST: Nicolas Cage is officially claiming he was too drunk to legally consent to his own marriage!

Us Weekly got hold of the actual annulment filing which claims the Con Air star “lacked understanding of his actions” and “was incapable of agreeing to the marriage”:

“Prior to obtaining a marriage license and participating in a marriage ceremony, [they] were both drinking to the point of intoxication…

…as a result of his intoxication, when [Koike] suggested to [Cage] that they should marry, [he] reacted on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.”

Well, da doi! We prob could have guessed that one.

But if Nic says he was pulling a Leaving Las Vegas, should he get a do-over on the marriage call?

Seems like a town with 24/7 wedding chapels should have protocols in place for this kind of thing…

Move over Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries!

According to The Blast, on Wednesday in Clark County, Nevada, Nicolas Cage filed for an annulment from his wife of four days, Erika Koike.

If an annulment is not possible, the actor wants a divorce from his new bride, who is a makeup artist.

The 55-year-old was previously married to Alice Kim, Lisa Marie Presley, and Patricia Arquette.

According to DailyMail.com on Wednesday, the thespian was caught on camera applying for a marriage license at the Clark County Court House Marriage Licence Bureau in downtown Las Vegas around 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. (Per their marriage certificate, they got married that same day.)

An eyewitness said Cage appeared to be “very out of it,” and was “most likely drunk.”

Per the footage, the Raising Arizona star — dressed in a dark jacket, red shirt, and dark pants — raised his voice, and said Koike’s “boyfriend” is a drug dealer, and that “he isn’t doing it,” possibly referring to getting a marriage license.

Though Koike calmly told Cage, “I never asked you to do this,” he smiled and gently pushed her through the hallway, saying, “Come on, let’s go.”

The source then explained:

“They started by filling the application in one of the machines… The whole time he was yelling, ‘She is going to take all my money,’ and, ‘Her ex is a druggy, her ex is a druggy.’… The woman only kept saying, ‘Baby I am not asking you to do this.'”

Reportedly, because the couple were making such a scene, they were taken into a private room and later left the courthouse with papers.

The two have been together since April 2018.

As we reported in October 2018, Cage’s ex-girlfriend, Vickie Park, accused him of abusing her at the SLASH Film Festival in Vienna on September 20.

The accusation was made in a restraining order filed against his ex-wife Kim, who finalized her divorce from Cage in 2016.

Park claimed the actor was “severely intoxicated at the time,” and blamed the alleged behavior on his “mental illness.” She said in the docs:

“I am already aware [of] his alcohol addiction, depression and mental illness as his mother is also currently still facilitated in mental ward.”

Park claimed that this abuse stemmed from Cage’s strained relationship with Kim, continuing:

“I am afraid and distressed from their toxic relationship being projected onto me — physically and mentally… Currently they are in a divorce battle where she is requesting more than $30 to 40,000 dollars a month solely for herself without signing a contract without documenting how much of the money is going to their son, Kal.”

She also alleged that Kim “stalks my Instagram page which I now had to make private because I am afraid of her,” adding:

“[Kim] sends Nic messages about me — spreading lies and rumors about me all over Los Angeles and Las Vegas as well.”

The judge denied Park’s request for a restraining order, as her claims “do not sufficiently show acts of violence, threats of violence, or a course of conduct that seriously alarmed, annoyed, or harassed [Park] and caused substantial emotional distress.”

A spokesperson for Cage denied all the accusations, telling Radar:

“Nicolas and Alice Cage categorically deny the absurd allegations listed in the filing of a temporary restraining order against Alice Cage, which was denied by the court.”
