Nicki Minaj Abruptly Cancels Slovakia Concert The Night Of The Show -- Who's To Blame?!

Nicki Minaj was forced to cancel a concert in Bratislava, Slovakia this weekend after the venue holding the concert reportedly had significant power issues and was unable to satisfactorily put on the show.

The rapper is in the middle of the European leg of her World Tour — she just successfully performed in Munich, Germany a couple days ago — but things quickly ground to a halt in Bratislava on Friday night.

As you can see in the video (below), after hours of fans waiting, Nicki came on stage briefly to announce what was going on and regretfully reveal that she had to cancel the show:

Awww!

You can pretty much definitively hear the regret and sadness in Nicki’s voice; reports out over the weekend held that the singer was “gutted” and “heartbroken” over having to cancel the show.

FWIW, Slovakian promoters immediately denied Nicki’s claim about power, instead blaming the cancellation on the artist herself in a lengthy Facebook post (below):

The full translation of that post reads as follows (below):

!!! Nicki Minaj’s show was cancelled by the artist. The Agency xl promotion in almost twenty years of its existence has not cancelled a single concert. The Winter Stadium of Andrew Nepelu meets all the technical standards and the agency xl promotion respected all the conditions sent by the production of Nicki Minaj. The concert wasn’t made exclusively from the nicki minaj team. We have made a number of large world productions like rammstein, Depeche Mode, Eros Ramazzotti, Lenny Kravitz, onerepublic and many others. The Official Press Release will be issued in a short time. Tickets will be filled in full. All information will be on the website www.xl.sk thanks for understanding.

Hmm…

Who do U think is lying here?

As you can see (below), the show must go on from here; Nicki has stops in Poland and Hungary immediately after this (including Sunday night!) so there will be no rest for the weary:

Wow!

With all that coming up… let’s just hope things get ironed out the rest of the way!!!
