Just a day after the Spice Girls singer claimed she had sex with bandmate Geri Halliwell, Miz “Scary Spice” is totally downplaying the situation!
After a shocking revelation like that, we’re not surprised to hear that there’s more to the story!

For those who might have missed it, Mel first made the shocking admission late this week during a taping of Piers Morgan‘s new ITV show, Life Stories.
Per transcripts of their convo obtained by the Daily Mail, the 43-year-old singer recalled the sexy hook up, saying:
Piers: “Did you or didn’t you with Geri Halliwell…did you sleep with her?”
Mel B: “Yeah, we all slept in a bed together but not ‘like that’ all of us.”
Piers: “Did you sleep with Geri ‘like that’?
Mel B: “She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house and her husband. But it’s a fact. It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it. It was just that once. And hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it. Because it was just a fun thing.”
Well, the British entertainer didn’t have to worry about Geri AKA Ginger Spice hating her, because they apparently had a laugh about it together after the story went viral!
On Tuesday, Mel dropped by British radio show 2Day FM Breakfast with Grant, Ed & Ash to do her best at downplaying what went down. Adamant that she “didn’t go into detail about it at all,” Mel clarifies her previous statements, saying:
“It wasn’t, like, a big deal. We’ve known each other for 20-plus years. It was just one of those things that happened one night.”
Mhm. We believe you, sure we do…
The Catch A Fire author continued that she’s been in contact with her gal pal twice since her comments made headlines:
“I just said it was, like, a little thing and we giggled about it the next day and that’s that. … I just admitted we had a little bit of a thing back in the day at one time. And that’s it.”
We guess these ladies truly had the last laugh in the end!
And it’s a good thing too, as the pair along with band members Melanie C and Emma Bunton (sadly, no Victoria Beckham!) will be touring together soon. Their 13-date reunion tour kicks off in the UK in May later this year.
Who knows, maybe they’ll make a few more interesting memories?! It is 2019, y’all. At this point, anything goes.
