Meghan Markle is leaning on her besties!
As we wrote, the Duchess of Sussex had her baby shower at the Mark Hotel in NYC on Wednesday, with a star-studded guest list including gal pals Serena Williams and Amal Clooney.
But apparently the expecting royal extended her getaway across the pond to squeeze in a little more girl time!

Per the latest in Us Weekly, Prince Harry‘s wife was also spotted shopping at high-end baby store Bonpoint and having lunch at famous macaron spot Laduree with her best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney. She also reportedly met up with Serena again, and Abigail Spencer for dinner at The Polo Bar on Tuesday.
As we reported, Meg’s BFF Priyanka Chopra was absent from all the festivities, but the Duchess was still surrounded by love and good vibes as her pregnancy reaches the home stretch!
A source also tells the publication that the Suits star really needed that girl time because she feels she’s lacking “a group of moms in London to lean on.” As a result, she hopes to recreate the same circle of support back in England by strengthening her relationship with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
We know, we know. These two haven’t exactly been on the same page from the start, but they’ve have come a long way since their past rumored feuds and only plan to get closer! The insider notes:
“It’s not bad by any means, but they want to make it stronger.”
Sounds like a good idea to us, especially with Baby Sussex on the way!
