Beer Company Unveils Lucky Charms-Flavored Marshmallow IPA!

Magically delicious… or tragically disgusting?

Smartmouth Beer is hoping to appeal to the inner child and outer beer enthusiast of us all by unveiling a Lucky Charms flavored beer. Yes, really!

The Saturday Morning Marshmallow IPA will be introduced on March 2 during an all-day event in Norfolk, Virginia that also promises trivia, food, a Super Smash Bros. tournament, and other nostalgic treats.

In an announcement on Facebook, Smartmouth wrote that the beverage was made “with pounds of marshmallows, some of which we toasted, along with tropical fruity Calypso hops,” resulting in something “magically ridiculous.”

Be still our hearts… and blood sugar levels!

The Saturday Morning IPA will be available for a limited time only, so make like a marshmallow and get toasted while you still can! Ch-ch-check out the event (below).

“Remember how you used to sort through bowls of your favorite breakfast cereal to separate the marshmallows from the cereal? Whether you ate them first or saved them for last, we’ve got you covered with our latest beer.

Saturday Morning is an 6.6% ABV IPA, brewed with in-house toasted marshmallows and bulk dehydrated-marshmallow-bits. It has been hopped and dry-hopped with Galaxy and Calypso hops. The nose is sweet and citrus, with orange and pear aromas. It has a soft pillowy body with a slight cereal taste. The result is magically ridiculous!

This is a very LIMITED release beer. Draft and cans will be available on Saturday, March 2, beginning at noon at the Norfolk tasting room ONLY. It will be distributed throughout the State of Virginia to limited restaurants, bars and specialty bottle shops.

To celebrate the release, Smartmouth Brewing will host a “Saturday Morning All Day” event at our Norfolk tasting room.”
