Kris Jenner had to rely on her faith amid Khloé Kardashian‘s breakup with baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.
On Friday, the momager spoke to Ryan Seacrest on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, where she opened up about the various dramas plaguing her famous family.

When asked how she copes with difficult events in life, the 63-year-old responded:
“First of all, I pray about it. I really do… I find the spiritual side of me has to kick in because otherwise I feel like I wouldn’t survive. But, I think that my kids make really good decisions… and as challenging as some of these situations are, I think that because they have one another and they try to make really good decisions, that they’re going to come out the other side with a lot of clarity and a lot of honesty and do what they feel like is the right thing, and I really trust all of my kids to make those good decisions.”
The reality TV personality credited her kids’ “good decisions” to them being parents themselves (with the exception of Kendall Jenner, of course).
“I think [having] kids have really made such a difference, obviously, in all of their lives… Everyone so far except Kendall, she doesn’t have a baby yet.”
With season 16 of KUWTK premiering this weekend, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch also dished on why her brood is so relatable.
“People watch the show and we remind them of things that their family might be going through or things that they’re experiencing or don’t want to talk about… and suddenly here it is right there for them to watch and see how they might handle it or go through it because it’s real.”
In February, KoKo broke up with the Cleveland Cavaliers player after he allegedly had an affair with Kylie Jenner‘s BFF, Jordyn Woods.
In an interview with Red Table Talk‘s Jada Pinkett Smith, Woods denied hooking up with Thompson, except for a goodbye kiss that he allegedly initiated.
Although Khloe initially said “lying” Woods was “the reason [her] family broke up,” Kardashian reversed her position and said Tristan is “to be blamed.” She wrote on Twitter:
“This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time… What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault… I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”
Speaking of Kylie, Kris also opened up to Seacrest about her 21-year-old daughter’s controversial title as the youngest self-made billionaire.
“Kylie is an old soul and she’s super smart and she’s really responsible and she works hard… She’s got the most amazing work ethic and she’s really creative so at this point I just show up for work and say ‘OK, boss, what are we doing today?'”
In a recent interview with Interview Germany, the Kylie Cosmetics founder defended her title against those who believe she got a leg up because of her famous family, or the circumstances in which she grew up in (like having a socialite mother and an Olympian father, growing up on television, or living in a super rich neighborhood).
Stormi Webster‘s mom explained:
“There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that is the truth. That is the category that I fall under. Although, I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans. I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15. I used 100% of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited… and I am very proud of that.”
16 seasons later, we are STILL keeping up with the Kardashians!
