Chicago PD Has 'A Lot More Evidence' Against Jussie Smollett!

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson went on GMA Monday morning to discuss the Jussie Smollett investigation — and it sounds like the public only knows the half of it.

Johnson spoke to host Robin Roberts early Monday morning on the show, cautioning Smollett “still has the presumption of innocence,” of course, but the Chicago PD apparently has more than what’s been released to the press.

At one point, Johnson says:

“There’s a lot more evidence that hasn’t been presented yet that does not support the version that he gave.”

Whoa!

It remains to be seen what that evidence is, of course — barring leaks, there’s a chance we may not find out what it is until a potential jury trial — but it could be a HUGE development for the police in their case against the Empire star.
