Jussie Smollett's Alleged Attacker Deletes Old Homophobic Tweets

This case just won’t stop twisting. It’s like if an episode of SVU lasted three days but never changed its pace.

First Jussie Smollett said he was beaten by racist homophobes. Then police charged him with a crime after two men claimed he paid them to stage the attack!

Now it turns out Ola Osundairo, one of the two alleged attackers (or alleged alleged attackers?), may have actually been homophobic all along?

The Blast uncovered a couple old homophobic tweets, in which he called someone gay derisively and chastised a friend for liking Frank Ocean because “you know that n***a gay right.” Charming.

Almost immediately after the tweets resurfaced, Osundairo deleted them. A natural inclination, obviously, but guess what? That may have been illegal.

Sources close to the case told The Blast deleting those tweets could be seen as destroying evidence considering they’re witnesses in a criminal case; it could even have “severe ramifications.”

Wow. But does anyone really think this changes much? Like it’ll turn out homophobia really was the motive behind this??

Seems to us learning a man who agreed to help stage a hate crime for profit, allegedly, was gross in other ways? Not that much of a twist after all…
