If it was publicity Jussie Smollett wanted, he sure got it.
As we reported, the Empire star was arrested and charged with filing a false police report for allegedly paying two men to stage the attack on him in Chicago that’s been making waves across the media for the past few weeks.
So, when it was reported that police called the attack a complete “hoax” on Thursday, claiming that the actor orchestrated the street performance because he was “dissatisfied with his salary” on the FOX drama, Twitter had a lot to say about it.

Some were shocked, some saw it coming (including Donald Trump), but most agreed that this was the worst publicity stunt since Kendall Jenner’s Proactiv announcement.
