Jussie Smollett Named A Suspect -- As Brothers Seen Buying Gear On Security Footage!

Things have officially gotten worse for Jussie Smollett.

He is “officially classified as a suspect” for filing a false police report claiming he was the victim of a hate crime, per Chicago PD communications officer Anthony Guglielmi:

It’s only going to get worse from here.

Law enforcement sources are telling TMZ the grand jury is being presented with evidence by investigators showing the Empire star paid Nigerian brothers Ola and Abel Osundairo to help him stage the attack.

Apparently a check was presented showing he paid them $3500. They are expected to testify, as early as Wednesday afternoon, the money was indeed for “training”, as is written on the check, but this amount was more than expected — and it was “clear” to them what it was for.

Hmmm. That’s less strong than they’re making it sound…

However, more evidence was presented on Wednesday, not to the jury but to the public.

CBS2 got hold of the surveillance footage from the store where the Osundairos bought a red hat, ski mask, and other items allegedly used in a fake attack.
