Joe, Joe, Joe…
Joe Biden is taking heat again this week after he was accused of planting an unwanted kiss on the back of the head of Nevada politician Lucy Flores back in 2014… and his response to the accusation leaves a LOT to be desired.

After Flores’ initial accusation made headlines on Friday, Biden’s team slowly (but surely) responded to it, and, just, wow… did they read their response through before sending it off to the media?!?!
Here’s what a Biden spokesperson had to say about the alleged unwanted kiss (below):
“Vice President Biden was pleased to support Lucy Flores’s candidacy for Lieutenant Governor of Nevada in 2014 and to speak on her behalf at a well-attended public event. Neither then, not in the years since, did he or the staff with him at the time have an inkling that Ms. Flores had been at any time uncomfortable, nor do they recall what she describes.
But Vice President Biden believes that Ms. Flores has every right to share her own recollection and reflections, and that it is a change for the better in our society that she has the opportunity to do so. He respects Ms. Flores as a strong and independent voice in our politics and wishes her only the best.”

So basically… Joe is trying to (a) pander to the #MeToo Movement by acknowledging it’s important to respect accusers (but don’t believe this one!), while also (b) claiming he doesn’t even remember the incident. Does that mean, like, it did happen and Joe forgot?! What the hell are we taking about here???

Speaking to the media in response to Biden’s response, Flores gave an incredible (and unfortunately maybe true) quote:
“He probably doesn’t remember the interaction. I would argue that he is so used to behaving in that way that it is no big deal.”
BURN!!!!!
The controversy is starting to really take hold, too; other presidential candidates are speaking about it on the campaign trail this weekend, as Elizabeth Warren did here (below):

Biden’s bad memory may catch him in a tough spot this time… of course, that sick response from Flores really sets the story here, though, doesn’t it? You’ve been CALLED OUT, Joe.
