The BirdcageThe concept of this story alone is enough to make modern day viewers queazy: a drag club owner and his drag queen partner pose as a heterosexual couple to impress the conservative family their son wants to marry into. But the dinner it centers around is next level awk. While Nathan Lane's character played a woman pretty gracefully, there were still plenty of mishaps (homoerotic dinner plates!) that made this scene uncomfortable -- now, for different reasons. Hey, not every film can get better with age.
