Do Not Be Jussie Smollett Staging His Own Attack!The 'Empire' star found himself in the biggest controversy of the year when he claimed he was attacked by two men on the streets of Chicago, and was later accused of lying about it by police. The case against him was dismissed, but many believe he really did make up the whole thing for publicity. So, while it's okay to dress up as the actor, do NOT dress up as him the way he presented himself to cops: with a noose around his neck (which he said his attackers put on him). Doing so would be all kinds of wrong, and would make a mockery out of the very real hate crimes that occur every day.
