The directors didn’t even see it until they were reviewing footage after filming had wrapped; they had simply told the actress to go someplace alone to say goodbye to her loved ones. Heather thought she was getting her whole face in the shot and didn't realize she had zoomed in so much. That little mistake became an evocative moment, and was used as the film’s poster.
