Oops! Dr. Dre Deletes Post About Daughter's Acceptance To USC 'All On Her Own' After Old Donation Resurfaces!

Dr. Dre was such a proud papa there for a second… but now, he’s got egg all over his face!!!

The rapper took to Instagram initially on Saturday night to proudly brag that his daughter got accepted into the University of Southern California — yes, the same school recently rocked by college admissions scam allegations involving celebs Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, and other rich and influential families.

And at first, Dre proudly threw some shade in the since-deleted IG post by publishing the picture (above) alongside his 18-year-old daughter, Truly Young, with the caption “My daughter got accepted into USC all on her own. No jail time!!!”

That caption would be great (and extremely funny!) too, except for one LITTLE problem for Dr. Dre — a problem he apparently didn’t realize (or didn’t think the public would catch on to) until it was too late: six years ago, he made a $70 MILLION donation to USC to establish the university’s Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation.

Hmmm… $70 million to establish a branch of a school at USC… and his daughter still got in “all on her own”? How does that one go, again?! Somewhere, Loughlin — who is accused of paying a mere $500,000 in bribes — and Huffman — who allegedly put up just $15,000 in scam money — are both laughing HARD at Dre’s assertion that his daughter got in “all on her own” while magically somehow managing to overlook his EIGHT-FIGURE donation. That’s a lot of greased palms, Dre… No wonder he deleted the IG post!

Now, let’s take nothing away from Truly, here — she very well may have had the grades, test scores, and extra curricular activities to legitimately earn entrance into a school like USC. As you can see in a snap of one of her social media posts celebrating the achievement (below), she clearly believes that she’s been working hard and had earned that admission:

And, hey, maybe she did! It could be totally legit! If so… congratulations to her!!!

But come on… it’s RIDICULOUS that Dre didn’t consider how an eight-figure donation might look in light of the broader college admissions scandal and the aftermath going on right now, and/or how it might play in regards to helping his daughter get into the extremely prestigious school. Not a good look for the rap music legend!!!

So crazy!!! What do U think about all this, Perezcious readers?! Sound OFF about this hilarious little snafu and the rest of the fallout from this college admissions cheating scandal in the comments (below)!!!
