Demi Lovato Slams Headline About Her 'Fuller Figure' -- But Wait 'Til You See How This Controversy Ends!

Demi Lovato isn’t going to take this sh*t any longer!

The singer took to Instagram on Thursday night to address the headline of a story that mentioned her “fuller figure” spotted by paparazzi after a workout.

As you’ll recall, Demi has been working hard both mentally and physically to get back to good health after suffering a reported overdose late last year.

But any headline that describes a “fuller figure” is one likely to get some push back, no matter the context, and Demi appropriately took exception to the characterization.

As you can see from her IG stories, though, she was remarkably civil and mature about it the entire time when expressing her disagreement with the description (below):

Wow!

Very well said, Demi!!

Even better than that, though, she reached out to the writer of the piece to discuss the headline — and she had a remarkably civil conversation with him about body image issues and how the media portrays female celebrities and their bodies.

Wow!

And some more of the conversation here (below), where she reminds her fans to be nice and respond with civility and love, just as she did from the start:

So inspiring!

In a social media world where we are all constantly yelling at each other about politics, and social issues, and everything else under the sun, very rarely does someone change their opinions drastically — because it feels like nobody ever takes the time to be civil and polite!

But this was very well-said and respectful! And THIS is how you change people’s minds, after all! Bravo, Demi!

By the end of it, the Sorry Not Sorry singer was down for the count, and so she called it a night (below):

One last inspiring message to wrap up the day perfectly with a nice little bow!

Loving it!
