As if the world didn’t have to suffer enough already, Avril Lavigne has revealed plans to follow in the illustrious footsteps of Ashlee & Jessica Simpson.

Says Avril: “And I want to do other things also, outside of music — have some fun with acting and do a couple of movies. I have one scene in (a coming movie called The Flock, starring Richard Gere), and I’ve done a couple of small things, but now I’m looking to do a big part.”

Says us: You barely do one thing well. Are you sure you want to suck at acting????
