Lori Loughlin 'Believed Her Heart Was In Right Place' In College Cheating Scandal!

Lori Loughlin‘s “intentions were pure” when she allegedly helped her daughters get into USC.

As we reported, the Fuller House star and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were indicted for allegedly paying bribes totaling $500,000 to have both of their children — including 20-year-old Isabella Rose — recruited for the college’s crew team, despite not playing the sport.

According to an Us Weekly source on Wednesday, the 54-year-old actress “truly believed her heart was in the right place” when she allegedly worked with William Rick Singer, the leader of the college admissions scheme who recently plead guilty to four felony counts of conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and obstruction of justice.

The source added:

“Lori is a really great mom who is completely into her kids and family life… She lives and breathes for her husband and children… Her intentions were pure.”

As for Olivia and Bella, the social media sisters “don’t plan to return to USC.” (A previous TMZ source said the girls feared they would be “viciously bullied” if they went back.)

A People insider revealed on Wednesday:

“Although classes have resumed at USC, Olivia and Bella are not back at school… They don’t plan to return to USC. Right now, they are just focused on getting through this ordeal.”

In fact, the young women are just trying to survive this “nightmare.”

“The girls are not talking about future plans. They are more focused on what’s next for their parents… They are living in the moment and that’s all they can do right now. For them, this is all still a nightmare.”

Additionally, Olivia is still reeling from what the scandal has done to her business deals.

As we wrote, Sephora — who collaborated with the YouTube star on her $28 Olivia Jade x Sephora Collection Bronze & Illuminate Palette — cut ties with the teenager.

“She feels she has worked very hard to get different work deals and everything is just gone… She thought she knew what the future had in store for her, and it all just crumbled.”

On a similar note, Loughlin was fired by Hallmark, and was reportedly axed by Netflix, which means she will not return for the final season of the Full House sequel.

A well-placed production source told TMZ:

Fuller House is not currently in production. Lori is a guest star and was during the previous 4 seasons and there are currently no plans for her to return to the 5th season.”

Tough luck, ladies!
