R. Kelly is a free man again, for now.
The 52-year-old was released on Monday in Chicago after a $100K bond — just ten percent of his $1 million dollar bail — was posted. Per TMZ, the singer appeared in court to plead not guilty to all 10 accounts of aggravated sexual abuse.
According to reports from The Blast, the singer was later spotted in a bright blue, down puffer coat having a meal at the McDonald’s in River North Chicago with his team. Kelly left after a crowd of fans began to gather, and hit up a cigar bar in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood where he was allegedly joined by girlfriends Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary.
As we wrote, R. Kelly still owes over $160,000 in child support to his ex-wife Drea Kelly. The court has ordered him to pay up by March 6 or he’ll be back in Cook County jail to answer for it, along with the growing number of charges against him.
